RICHMOND – Richmond Area Health Center is raffling a beautiful, handmade cedar strip canoe, built by a local craftsperson. The raffle drawing will take place on Saturday, July 23 at Richmond Waterfront Park just before the fireworks display begins. The raffle proceeds will benefit the community health center.
Tickets for the raffle are $1 each, 7 for $5, 15 for $10, and 35 for $20, and can be purchased at Richmond Days waterfront events Friday night (July 22) and Saturday night (July 23). Tickets may also be purchased at Richmond Area Health Center.
The locally crafted canoe is a Wee Lassie model, which is 11.5 feet in length and weighs just 25 pounds. Suggested payload of 200 pounds. This canoe is valued at $3,000!
